Turtle Bluffs is a boat dive on the south side of Kauai, Hawaii, just west of General Store. It is rated intermediate to advanced, with depths of 45 to 90 feet (14 to 27 m).
The site is a small hill with 15 to 20 ledges around three sides. A turtle cleaning station sits at the top of the hill, and green sea turtles are a feature of the dive.
Expect blue stripe snapper in big schools, white tip reef sharks, black coral, a Hawaiian morwong, bandit angelfish, dragon wrasse, black triggerfish, nudibranchs, grey snapper, pyramid and pennant butterflyfish, giant porcupinefish and spotted puffers. A spotted knifejaw about three and a half feet long is also seen here.
Currents are usually not a problem, but the site is far offshore and tends to catch the same conditions as General Store. In stronger current it is often run as a drift. If the current is strong enough, divers can drift through Fish Bowl and all the way to General Store, or the other way round depending on the direction. There is a good chance of seeing larger animals.
