Dived here today? How were conditions vs. what we showed?
Wakaya Pass lies near Makogai Island in Fiji's Lomaiviti Group, within the Koro Sea between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. The Lomaiviti waters are known for channel and pass dives where currents move between islands, typically reached by boat from operators based in the group. It is rated a beginner dive, though divers have reported standing waves, strong current, and turbulent water here, so conditions can shift quickly in the pass. Giant moray, grouper, and linedcheek wrasse have also been spotted along the site.
