Boo Windows is a reef dive in the Misool region of Raja Ampat, Indonesia, named for the natural rock "windows" — openings carved through the reef structure and framed by soft corals. The site sits within Misool's marine reserve, an area noted for high coral cover and fish biomass that remains relatively undisturbed due to its distance from the more heavily visited northern sites.
The reef is built on rock, with the defining feature being those arch-like windows or passages through the formation. Soft corals line the frames, and the shadows and overhangs created by the structure provide resting spots for wobbegong sharks through the day. The dive is rated Open Water level, with only mild current, and suits beginners as well as more experienced divers looking for a relaxed, photogenic dive that rewards a slow, patient approach.
Resident wobbegong sharks are the headline animals, tucked beneath the overhangs. Snapper and fusiliers are present in the water column, and soft corals cover much of the structure. Visibility is consistently good, and water temperature runs 27–30°C. The main diving season covering this site runs from October to April, when sailing conditions across Raja Ampat are at their most settled.
Access is by liveaboard; the distance from the Dampier Strait means Misool sites including Boo Windows are only reached on itineraries of around eleven days or longer, and diver numbers at the site stay low as a result.
