The Yewglen is a wreck dive tucked in behind the lee of Beadnell Point, which shelters it from the open water outside. Divers have used it as a quick second dive after an earlier dive further out.
Wreckage lies along the edge of the reef that sits immediately off the Point reef. Divers come across the boiler and assorted rusting debris, then bottom plates, box sections of metalwork and an old winch further to the north.
Kelp usually covers the site and hides most of the wreckage, but on one visit it had died back and exposed areas that are normally out of view. Visibility on that dive was around 15 metres or better, and visibility here is rated good.
