About this site
Bet Goha is a reef dive site known locally by the nickname "Alice in Wonderland – Magical Labyrinth," entered through a shallow lagoon of 1–2 m depth. The dive begins in a narrow canyon that gradually opens into a larger, wider passage, with the canyon open toward the surface throughout.
The terrain features a coral wall draped in soft corals, offshore coral blocks, and a coral garden on the north side at around 15 m depth. The canyon walls are heavily covered in corals, and the reef structure offers two separate routes for the outward and return journey.
Marine life at Bet Goha includes a regularly sighted group of batfish and a colony of sand eels living in the sandy bottom. Divers should be aware that the site contains a cave, which is a noted hazard.
