Bodu Hithi Thila is a reef thila located on the western side of North Male' Atoll in the Maldives, in the Rasfari area. The site is characterised by numerous holes and crevices across the reef structure, which shelter a variety of small invertebrates and reef fish.
The reef's holes and crevices are home to colourful sea slugs, flatworms, cleaner shrimps, and morays. Bodu Hithi Thila is a well-known manta ray site during the northeast monsoon season, from December through April, when groups of large mantas visit the cleaning stations found at various depths across the reef. The mantas can also be encountered feeding close to the surface, making snorkelling with them possible at that time. Whale sharks are occasionally sighted here as well.
Access to the site is by boat, with journey times of around 50 minutes from some departure points in the atoll.
