The Clan Stuart is a shipwreck on the False Bay side of the Cape Peninsula, reached as a shore dive from Simon's Town, South Africa. The ship sank in 1914 and now rests in about 9 m (30 ft) of water, so both scuba divers and freedivers can visit.
The site is exposed, and swell is the main problem, with enough surge at times to take a mask off a diver's face. It is best done when the sea is calm, mainly in the May to October season. Sharp iron edges on the wreck are a hazard, and the wreck sits in a restricted area.
