Cracked Coral Head sits within the Exuma Cays, the chain of small islands and cays in the Bahamas stretching between Nassau and Great Exuma, with the shallow Great Bahama Bank to the west and the deeper waters of Exuma Sound to the east. Like other coral head formations along this chain, it's typically reached by a short boat trip from settlements such as George Town or Staniel Cay. Divers here have reported angelfish, lionfish, and stoplight parrotfish around the reef structure, along with occasional hammerhead shark sightings.
