About this site
Deep Blinders is the wall section of the Blinders reef at Plettenberg Bay, a dive that needs a slightly longer swim than the rest of the reef. The wall rises from 10 metres to just below the surface, and depths run from 10 to 13 metres.
Many species and colours of soft coral cover the wall. Strawberry anemones share space with blue choirboys and orange wall sponge, alongside multi-coloured coral, which makes for a dramatic underwater landscape.
