El Vencedor is a small wreck in the marine park at Cabo Pulmo, a sunken tuna boat that now works as an artificial reef at about 11 to 14 metres (35 to 45 feet). Corals and sponges cover the hull.
It is the most reliable place in the park to find bull sharks, which cruise past the cleaning station, and large numbers gather during the cooler months from November to March. Tiger sharks are a possibility.
Groupers, snappers, turtles, stingrays, garden eels and Panamic green morays are common residents, and schools of yellowtail snappers, grunts and sardines move around the wreck, which makes it a good subject for photographers.
