Enderby is a small crescent-shaped islet on the northeast of Floreana Island, itself located to the south of Santa Cruz Island in the Galápagos. It is one of three dive sites around Floreana and is reached by day trips departing from Santa Cruz. The dive generally begins inside the crescent, where the dominant current arrives from the south and splits around either side of the islet. The terrain combines rocky outcrops, small caves, and areas of sand on a slope that runs from a shallowest point of around 15 m (50 ft) down to over 40 m (130 ft), though most activity takes place in the shallower section. Maximum depth is 18.7 m.
The site is well suited to beginners and comfortable for experienced divers looking for a relaxed dive, as currents are generally light to moderate. Visibility ranges from roughly 8 m to 21 m (28–70 ft).
Marine life at Enderby is varied: large schools of black-striped salema regularly surround divers, and the reef shelters the distinctive red-lipped batfish with its leg-like fins. Sharks are a consistent feature, with white reef sharks, blacktip reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, and silky sharks all recorded here. Green sea turtles, stingrays, eagle rays, and sea lions — including playful juveniles — are also regularly encountered.
