Four Kings is a series of submerged pinnacles located to the east of the island of Pele in southern Misool, Raja Ampat, Indonesia. The site consists of four limestone pinnacles whose tops are connected by a long ridge, giving the terrain the shape of an underwater mountain range rising from open water. Every surface of the rock faces is encrusted in soft corals — including Dendronephthya in neon pink, electric orange, and deep purple — as well as sea fans, with the natural channels between the pinnacles funnelling current and concentrating fish life.
The site reaches a maximum depth of 35 m (roughly 115 ft) with the shallowest points on the plateau summits at around 5 m (16 ft), and is rated intermediate level with moderate current. The shallow plateaus serve as cleaning stations, and when current eases, pelagic manta rays can be encountered there; reef sharks weave between the pinnacles throughout the dive.
Resident marine life includes schools of bigeye jacks and barracuda, turtles, pygmy seahorses, long nose hawkfish, yellow snapper, batfish, large grouper, whitetip sharks, and the occasional wobbegong shark. The shallow cleaning station also provides activity during the safety stop for divers who do not encounter mantas on the main dive.
