Gipsy Rover is a sandy reef slope muck dive site where a small sailboat lies on the bottom at 16 m, within a depth range of 14–25 m. The wreck is compact — described as a tiny structure — resting in a sandy area, and the site is well known as a muck dive destination suited to both beginner and advanced divers.
The wreck and surrounding sandy slope attract a strong variety of cryptic and macro life. Lion fish of several species inhabit the wreck itself, alongside scorpion fish, batfish, schools of fusiliers, different moray eels, garden eels, frogfish, clams, ghost pipefish, and leaf fish. The verified species list for the site also includes seahorses, blue-ringed octopuses, blue sepia, and frogfish. The best season to dive Gipsy Rover is March to June.
