Good Heart is a slope on the northeast side of Gili Trawangan in Indonesia that drops down into the channel between Trawangan and Meno. The tail end of a Biorock reef, built for coral gardening, sits in the shallows, and healthy corals grow around it.
The depth runs from 5 to 25 m (16 to 82 ft). The sandy slope makes for an easy descent and ascent, so the site is used often for Open Water courses, and it is also a popular night dive. A mild current suits a relaxed drift.
On the slope you see sponges, soft corals, anemonefish, angelfish, and green and hawksbill turtles. Along the deeper sandy edge, look for stingrays, garden eels and shrimp gobies. Frogfish and reef sharks are possible, and night dives in the shallows turn up hunting octopus, dwarf cuttlefish and bobtail squid.
