Grand Banc, also called Shark Point, is a dive along a drop-off that faces the Mozambique channel. Grey reef sharks and white tip reef sharks are the main draw, and hammerheads are sometimes seen.
Big shoals of snappers and fusiliers move along the wall, with wahoos and yellow fin tunas appearing now and then. The dive is graded beginner, reaches about 22 metres, and is best from May to October.
