Hidayet lies along the rocky coastline near Kas, a small town on the Mediterranean coast of Antalya Province in southern Turkey, close to the Greek islands just offshore. The site sits within the limestone headlands typical of this stretch of the Turkish Riviera and is generally reached by boat from the harbor at Kas. Divers here have reported a mix of native and Indo-Pacific species that have become established in the eastern Mediterranean, including flavimaculosus puffer, grey triggerfish, Indian lionfish, red Sea goatfish, red squirrelfish, reticulated leatherjacket, and rivulated rabbitfish.
