Jungle Beach is a reef site 25 minutes from Unawatuna on Sri Lanka's south coast, set against the backdrop of Rumassala Mountain. Depths run from 4 to 10 metres and the grade is beginner to advanced. The reef stretches nearly one kilometre, and advanced divers can explore its deeper sections.
The water is calm and protected, with vibrant coral reefs and colourful reef fish, so the site works for both snorkelling and diving. It is a popular choice for first-time night dives, and the calm conditions run from November to April. Divers have reported parrotfish, butterflyfish and sea turtles here.
