Kodiak Queen is a sunken Navy fuel barge in the British Virgin Islands, lying in a bay just outside Virgin Gorda. The vessel was one of the few ships to survive Pearl Harbor. After the war it was left abandoned to rust in the Virgin Islands, until it was sunk on purpose and turned into a dive site and art installation, known as the BVI Art Reef.
The wreck sits in about 40 to 60 ft (12 to 18 m) of water, with a maximum depth of around 60 ft (18.3 m). A giant kraken model sits beside the ship, which gives the site its unusual look. The site is shallow enough that snorkelers can also see the ship and the kraken.
The wreck draws a lot of fish, with big schools of grunts and bar jacks, Spanish mackerel and the chance of a Goliath grouper. The site is rated beginner.
