The Louis Shied lies off the Cornwall coast in southwest England, near coordinates 50.74341, -4.5813, with a maximum depth of around 12 metres, making it a shallow dive. Divers have reported tompot blennies and velvet swimming crabs around the structure, along with nursehound and small-spotted catshark resting on the bottom. Blonde skate and spotted skate have also been noted here, and the site's hard surfaces carry snakelocks anemone, strawberry anemone, and Lamarck's Christmas tree worm.
