Mainit, also called Mainit Point, is a dive site at the southernmost point of the Calumpang Peninsula in Anilao, Batangas, in the Philippines, and is known as Cazador Point on the charts. It is about 30 minutes by boat from the pier. The average depth is 15 metres (50ft) and the maximum is 30 metres (100ft).
Conditions are calm with a slight current and visibility up to 20 metres (65ft), though the currents can be fierce and divers may need to shelter behind the rocks to take photographs. Some rocks break the surface, and a gradual set of boulders forms mini drop offs.
The boulders are festooned with soft corals and anemones, together with many crinoids, colourful Linckia sea stars and nudibranchs. A cave at about 7 metres (23 ft) is where whitetip reef sharks have been seen resting.
