About this site
Mermaid Reef is a shallow reef near Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas, best known for its snorkelling in warm, clear water. Its shallow depth makes it suitable for children as well.
Moray eels, green turtles and lobsters live on the reef. The waters here are protected by the local community so that the environment is preserved for as long as possible.
