Mioskon is a reef dive site in Raja Ampat, Indonesia, reaching a maximum depth of 25 metres with its shallowest point at 5 metres, making it accessible to beginner divers.
The reef is best known for its sharks: wobbegong sharks and epaulette sharks are regularly encountered here, along with reef sharks. Other notable residents include Pontohi pygmy seahorses, blue-ringed octopus, peacock mantis shrimp, turtles, and yellowtail and blue-lined snappers. Blue-ringed octopus should be treated with caution, as they represent a site hazard.
Water temperature stays warm year-round at 28–30°C, and the site can be dived in any season. Current can run strong, so divers should be aware of conditions on the day, despite the beginner-level rating. The combination of unusual macro subjects and small shark encounters makes Mioskon a particularly rewarding site for divers with varied interests.
