Palmilla is a large reef system in the Cabo area of Baja, made up of two reef systems that join into one dive site with coral canyons. Depths run from 4.6 to 18.3 metres (15-60ft).
Soft corals and vibrant gorgonians cover the reef, schools of jacks and porkfish move across it, and turtles and cleaning stations are found throughout. Coral cover here is among the best in the region, and the level is listed as beginner to intermediate.
