Pietra Menalda is a rock on the southern side of Lipari, rated as an intermediate dive with a maximum depth of 45 metres. The most interesting way to dive it is to circle the rock at between 18 and 40 metres.
Huge rocks around it make homes for octopus, eels and groupers, which gives the site a distinctly natural character for divers.
