Roi East is a shallow reef site located between the shore and a pearl farm, creating sheltered conditions that support a diverse range of corals and macro life down to a maximum depth of 10 metres.
The calm waters allow a wide variety of corals to establish across the reef, and the site rewards slow, careful movement. Cuttlefish and glass shrimp are regularly encountered here, making it well suited to macro-focused dives.
Water temperature ranges from 28–31°C, and the site is diveable from October to April. With a maximum depth of 10 metres and gentle conditions, Roi East is accessible to beginner divers.
