Salagdoong (also spelled Salagdong) is a shore-accessible dive site on the east coast of Siquijor, near the town of Maria. The dive begins among large, half-submerged rocks and descends as a gradual slope, making it suitable for all certification levels including beginners.
The site has a rocky bottom with strong invertebrate cover, including soft corals, staghorn corals, pipe sponges, and tunicates. Blue-spotted rays and turtles appear from time to time.
Because Salagdoong faces east, it typically remains sheltered when weather closes down the west coast of Siquijor, which makes it a reliable alternative when conditions elsewhere deteriorate.
