Sandy Cove is a dive site at Terrance Bay, Nova Scotia, named for the large amount of sand in the cove.
A very gentle sandy slope continues underwater before giving way to gravel and small cobble, with granite boulders and bedrock ridges cloaked in rich seaweeds. Straight out from the cove, a sand plain runs to 30ft (about 9 metres).
Divers can stay in the cove and swim around, or head to the right of the cove, where navigation is easy with boulders on the right and sand on the left. Following that route, 40ft (about 12.2 metres) is easy to reach.
