Sea Apple Slopes lies off Pantar Island in the Lesser Sunda chain of Indonesia's Alor archipelago, a region separated from Alor Island by the Pantar Strait, known for its swift currents and volcanic seabeds. Dive sites along this coast are typically reached by boat from liveaboards or small operators working the strait between Alor and Pantar. Its slopes give the site its name.
