About this site
Thunderball Grotto is an underwater cave system to the north of Great Exuma in the Bahamas. It is best known for appearing in two James Bond films, and exploring it means passing hidden entrances, a hollow interior and narrow pathways.
Yellowtail snappers and angel fish swim among the colours inside. For snorkellers the tide matters, since some areas and entrances are completely submerged at high tide, so a visit at low tide is the better choice.
