About this site

Tunnels & Caves is a shore dive cavern site within the Cape Greko dive network in Cyprus, suited to new and intermediate divers holding at least an Open Water certification. The site is characterised by natural lava rock formations, winding tunnels, and maze-like swim-throughs lined with colourful stones. One formation is said to resemble the outline of Cyprus. Maximum depth reaches 14.4 metres, and the bottom type is cave terrain with smaller rocks and crevices throughout the structure.

The rocks and crevices shelter a range of marine life, including bearded fireworms, bream, grouper, moray eels, ornate wrasse, octopus, turtles, and seahorses. The site is diveable year-round, and visibility in the crystal-clear water is reported as good.
