Union Star 17 is a wreck, the 90 metre cargo ship MV Union Star 17, which divers also call the Sugar Wreck. She sank during a storm in 2000 and now rests on her side at about 18 metres, where she serves as an artificial reef.
Lionfish, scorpionfish, cobias and coral cat sharks live around the wreck, and rays and barracuda turn up now and then. The site is described as a good one for penetration dives and for anyone who likes macro subjects.
