Wonderland is a reef dive site located on the outer edge of Upolu Cay on the Great Barrier Reef, reaching a maximum depth of 22 m. The reef structure features hard corals including brain coral, boulder coral, and branching coral, alongside soft corals and gorgonian sea fans, forming coral gardens across the bottom.
The reef supports a broad range of marine life, including anemonefish, Maori wrasse, batfish, giant gold-spotted rock cods, painted crayfish, bull rays, and white-tipped reef sharks. Indian scad baitfish are also present, and large anemones host their resident fish throughout the site.
Dive depths vary depending on the tide, so actual depth on any given dive is tide-dependent. Water temperature ranges from 18–26°C, and the site can be dived year-round. The site is rated suitable for beginners.
Access is by boat. Dives at Upolu Cay are conducted with a certified dive guide, with the dive typically lasting around 40 minutes.
