Zainab is a shipwreck lying off the coast of Dubai, about 45 minutes by boat from the Palm Jumeirah. The ship sank in 2001, and because it has been on the seabed for only about 20 years, a lot of the wreckage is still intact.
The maximum depth is 30 metres, and the wreck is a dive for experienced deep divers. Yellow snappers, barracuda and bat fish are among the wildlife seen around it, and strong currents can run across the site.
