Big Mount is a dive site located approximately 50 to 100 metres off the northern tip of Pulau Lima, regarded by many local divers as the best site around the island. The site sits on a rocky bottom and descends to around 35 metres, making it one of the deeper dives in the area. The terrain begins at about 20 metres, where boulder formations drop away to 30-plus metres, covered in hard and soft corals, gorgonian fans, sea anemones, and whip coral gardens.
The site draws attention for its pelagic encounters, with tuna, barracudas, groupers, and black-tip sharks regularly seen, along with the occasional whale shark. Due to the depth and the nature of the pelagic activity, Big Mount is suited to advanced divers.
