Calafuria is a stretch of coast near Livorno in Tuscany, with dramatic red cliffs above the water and rocky crevices below. The water is clear and visibility is good.
Rainbow wrasses, salemas, comber and starfish hide among the submerged rocks. Sunset is a good time to visit, for the views both above and below the surface. The wrasses and salemas are easiest to find among the crevices.
