Canyon Dive is a cave and reef dive site in Dahab, Egypt, ranking among the most visited dive sites in the area alongside the nearby Blue Hole.
The site reaches a maximum depth of 30 m and encompasses a varied terrain that includes a cave system, lagoon, reef garden, shallow sections, an offshore reef, drop-off, coral garden, and coral pinnacles. The cave environment includes an overhead section and a coral dome known as the fishbowl, which has partially collapsed, creating an enclosed-space hazard that divers must be aware of.
Marine life at Canyon Dive includes dusky sweepers, glassfish, lionfish, octopus, anthias, Napoleons, stingrays, Red Sea Walkman, Red Sea anemones, clownfish, scorpionfish, and stonefish.
Entry is from shore. Conditions are generally good, with great visibility, light current, and water temperatures ranging from 20–29°C depending on season. Rough sea conditions can reduce visibility. A strong current can develop on the saddle, and divers should time their dive at high tide. The site carries several hazards: lionfish, the enclosed cave environment, partial collapse of the coral dome, and the depth—any diving beyond 30 m requires a deep or cave specialty. The overhead environment makes this unsuitable for inexperienced divers, and cave diving experience is strongly recommended.
