Coki Beach is a shore dive on the house reef of Coki Beach, St. Thomas, and one of the best shore dives in the Caribbean. The reef starts just 10 to 15 feet (3 to 4.5 m) from shore and is 15 to 40 feet (4.5 to 12 m) deep, so you can walk in from the beach and be surrounded by hundreds of fish within minutes. It suits Discover Scuba and Open Water divers.
Sergeant majors, yellowtail snappers, parrotfish, blue tang and an occasional octopus make it a rewarding dive, along with moray eels and the odd sea turtle. It can get very crowded on cruise ship days, so go early in the morning.
