Cross Line is a shore dive in the Manza area of Okinawa, entered from a nearby beach. It is one of the easier dive sites there, a mix of sandy bottom and reef hills that gives divers different things to look for.
Some divers stay on top of the reefs at around 6 metres to search for sleeping turtles, while others look for tiny creatures in the sand. Sea turtles are almost guaranteed along the route, and the main dive area lies around 21 meters depth. Divers have also reported frogfish, leaf scorpionfish and ghost pipefish.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
