Isla Grosa is a boat dive site off the Costa Cálida coast of southeast Spain, reached by a 20–25 minute boat ride from Los Alcázares beach. The site features rocky formations, walls, and boulder fields typical of the Mediterranean, with depths ranging from 12 to 18 metres (maximum 18 m) over a rock bottom.
The marine life at Isla Grosa includes sea bream, wrasse, octopus, cuttlefish, moray eels, and starfish, with the best conditions and fish life encountered during summer and early autumn when water temperatures and visibility are at their peak.
Current at the site is light and visibility is good, making it a relaxed dive well suited to all certification levels. Because conditions across the outer island sites can vary, the choice to dive Isla Grosa on any given day is made based on which site offers the best visibility and easiest entry for the group.
