The Jupiter Wreck Trek is a drift dive over three wrecks northeast of Jupiter Inlet. The Esso Bonaire III, a 150 ft (46 m) harbour tanker sunk in 1989, lies at 85 ft (26 m). The other two wrecks are the Miss Jenny and the Zion Train.
The Esso Bonaire III was built in Honduras in 1926 and seized by US Customs after 55,000 pounds of marijuana were found on board. She sits intact on her keel with her bow facing south, covered in corals and gorgonians.
The three wrecks host many goliath groupers and lemon sharks, and barracuda are also common.
The Miss Jenny, scuttled in 2002, originally sat upright and intact until Hurricane Frances broke her in half and moved the wreckage over a mile south. The bow now rests over her port side while the stern lists to starboard.
