Kahonee, also called Kahonee Reef, is an undulating patch reef off Grenada with a dive profile of 10 to 15 metres (30 to 50 feet). Glades of pale sand alternate with thickets of hard and soft coral, including lacy purple fans, a rainbow of sponges, large domes of brain coral and tall orange sea whips.
Lobsters and spotted morays live among the coral, and sleeping nurse sharks are found here too. The varied bottom of coral thickets and open sand makes the dive a slow and rewarding drift over the reef.
