Lady Luck

Lady Luck is a casino-themed wreck off Pompano Beach, Florida. She is a 324 ft (99 m) tanker built in 1967 as the Newtown Creek, and she worked as a sewage tanker for nearly 50 years. She was decommissioned in 2014 and sunk on July 23, 2016 as part of Florida's artificial reef system. She lies about 200 ft (60 m) south of the Rodeo wreck.

The wreck sits upright at about 131 ft (40 m), with the deck at 105 ft (32 m) and the superstructure at about 100 ft (30 m). She has been prepared so divers can explore 16 staterooms, the captain's deck, the galley, the engine room and the tanker holding bays. The main deck has a faux casino and underwater art, including a mermaid waitress, an octopus dealer, giant dice and a poker table with card sharks.

The current can get quite strong on this wreck. An Advanced certification and a signalling device are recommended, in case you get swept off the wreck. Schools of bar jacks and yellowtail live here, with a barracuda keeping watch in the wheelhouse.
