Lighthouse is a reef dive site reached by boat, situated near a white lighthouse and accessed by jumping from the boat in front of a vertical cliff face. The terrain combines a coral garden, a mix of hard and soft coral reef, sandy areas, and seagrass, descending on a gentle slope to a maximum depth of around 20 metres. Gorgonian sea fans, sponges, and anemones animate the reef in the prevailing mid-strength current.
The site suits beginners and is especially rewarding for macro photographers, with ghost pipefish, scorpionfish, sea moths, stargazers, snake eels, shrimps, and crabs found among the coral and sand. Schools of midnight snapper, checkered snapper, dark tail snapper, and long face emperor patrol the reef, along with groupers, purple anthias, and scorpionfish. The site is worthwhile by day and becomes even more productive after dark.
A medium current is typical, moving through the gorgonians and sponges. The best conditions fall between February and July. Difficulty is rated beginner, making it accessible to newly certified divers, though the night-dive option draws more experienced macro hunters as well.
