Luca Sanctuary is a shore-entry dive site located in Dauin, the Philippines (GPS: 9°11′31.27″N, 123°16′18.96″E), reachable by a short walk from the nearby resort area. The bottom combines sand with scattered coral blocks, creating a varied landscape that supports a good range of marine life in a compact, accessible setting.
The site holds stingrays, snappers, eels, morays, groupers, several species of frogfish, colourful shrimps, and anemonefish, making it a reliable muck and macro destination. Occasional rare species also turn up, and the site works well for night dives.
Luca Sanctuary is rated beginner level and is considered an excellent choice for divers starting out or looking for a relaxed, easy dive during a Dauin day trip.
