Maite is a gently sloping reef on Siquijor in the Philippines, in front of the local cemetery on the beach road south out of San Juan. It is named after the barangay. You can dive it from the beach, but most people go by boat. The site suits all levels.
There are beautiful coral patches in the shallows and a great number of ribbon eels in many parts of the reef. With a healthy population of mandarinfish, it is perhaps the most popular night dive on the island.
