Punta Blanca sits along the western coast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, an area shaped by volcanic rock formations typical of the island's shoreline. The site is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of 45 metres and is rated technical, with decompression required and divers having reported strong current here. Dive operators based in the nearby coastal towns of the south and west coast run trips out to this stretch of coastline. Marine life divers have reported includes Canary damsels, ornate wrasse, parrotfish, Macaronesian toby, and sally lightfoot crabs along the rock, along with sightings of bottlenose dolphins and short-finned pilot whales passing offshore.
