Punta Carena marks the southwestern tip of Capri, in the Metropolitan City of Naples, below the lighthouse that stands at this point of the island. The site sits along a rocky stretch of coastline facing the Tyrrhenian Sea, reachable from the small settlements on that side of Capri, and features cave terrain typical of this part of the island. It is rated an intermediate dive. Divers here have reported mauve stingers, Mediterranean damselfish, ornate wrasse, and yellow gorgonian along the rock and cave formations.
