The Rozi Wreck is a historic tugboat sitting upright on a sandy seabed at around 34 m (112 ft), located at Ċirkewwa in northern Malta. The vessel was deliberately scuttled in 1992 to serve as an artificial reef and remains largely intact, offering clear views of the wheelhouse, deck and mast.
The wreck spans a depth range of 20–35 m (66–115 ft), with the maximum depth reaching approximately 36 m (118 ft) at the bottom. The structure is well preserved and now heavily encrusted with marine growth, making it one of Malta's best-known wreck dives.
Marine life on the Rozi includes sea bream, barracuda, moray eels, eagle rays, rockfish, nudibranchs, monkfish, and squid eggs, with the wreck itself providing habitat across its entire structure.
The site is rated intermediate to advanced and is reached by boat from Ċirkewwa. Visibility is consistently excellent. The combination of depth, penetration potential and open-water wreck exploration means divers should have solid buoyancy control and appropriate wreck experience before diving here.
