About this site
Sanctuary lies off the coast of Luzon in the Bicol region, in the waters near Sorsogon or Ticao Pass, a stretch known for channels running between the main island and smaller offshore islets in a volcanic part of the country. Divers here have reported eightband butterflyfish and tomato clownfish on the reef, along with whale sharks passing through the area.
