Stambedar is a small island belonging to the Pakleni Islands group near Hvar, Croatia, known for the underwater wall that runs along its face from 5 m to 45 m depth.
The wall drops vertically through the full depth range and is covered with corals, sponges, and mosses. Red and lilac gorgonians are a prominent feature at depth, alongside algae, snails, and sea urchins, with numerous schools of fish moving through the site.
The site is rated for beginner to advanced level divers, though the verified maximum depth of 45 m places the deepest section in technical territory.
